It started with just buying games for friends. Then it turned into hosting giveaways in my own gaming servers — nothing fancy, just throwing a game up and letting people enter. It was a fun little thing. People got to try stuff they might not have grabbed on their own, and honestly it just made me happy doing it. Prize Cabin grew out of wanting to keep that going on a bigger scale.
As things grew, it made sense to do this the right way. Prize Cabin is now a registered LLC in Ohio. Formalizing it meant the community had a real entity behind it — properly run, properly accountable, properly legal. It also meant building things like clear written rules, a real Terms of Service, a privacy policy, and a transparent record where every giveaway and every winner is public.
What hasn't changed: every giveaway is free to enter, every winner is announced publicly, and no one ever has to pay to participate. Supporter tiers exist for people who want to chip in and help keep prizes flowing — they get additional entries and community perks as a thank-you. But every entry, free or supporter, has the same chance of winning. That's the whole thing.
